You must be able to qualify yearly with department firearms You must be able to reason and react calmly and quickly in emergency and life-threatening situations. Must have basic knowledge of computers to allow report writing, composition or correspondence, Internet, and email. Must have a valid state driver's license. Must be medically fit and able to perform all the essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a physical fitness test. Refer dangerous situations or complex problems to supervisor. Write incident reports regarding all security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism and submit to the Security Supervisor. Operate firefighting equipment and short-wave radio and administer CPR and first aid. Maintain logbook of all activity occurring daily. Possess knowledge of company regulations and procedures. Patrol internal and external company property Maintain security and procedures according to rules. Investigate unusual or suspicious situations.
